These days, junk food has undeniably become an integral part of youth’s life. Every one of us loves eating junk foods like pizza, burgers, cakes, etc. Though, junk food is the favorite items that suit the taste buds of almost every youth, but, it also raises some serious health concerns like blood pressure, heart attack, obesity, etc. Therefore, they are rightly categorized as “guilty pleasures”
Happy and healthy youth of today will be the caring and responsible adult of tomorrow. In order to be healthy and fit, you need to eat healthy and stay away from junk food. A healthy diet makes a person feel more energetic and active, and thus, it should be in the priority list of every person, especially the younger generation. Following is the list of some must-haves in our daily diet:
- Water: Water is the most important ingredient of a healthy diet. Water helps in lubricating, protecting the tissues from injury, and maintaining the body temperature. Drinking 7-8 glasses of water daily also helps you to get rid of the body-waste. Apart from this, water is also helpful for reducing body-weight.
- Fiber: Fiber (roughage) raises the volume of food and reduces the energy density, which means lesser calories and higher quantity of food. This keeps you active as your desire to eat more automatically decreases. Besides this, fiber is also helpful in keeping several heart related diseases and chronic illness at bay.
- Protein: In order to be healthy, active, and energetic, you should include protein in his daily diet. Food like chicken, fish, eggs, dried beans, and green leafy vegetables are rich in proteins. Protein provides energy to the human body, helps it fight off illness, as well as, maintains the functioning of immune system.|
- Salt: Salt is a highly essential ingredient of your diet. You should include the Himalayan Crystal Salt in your diet as it is complete with all natural benefits. This salt, apart from regulating the water level in your body, promotes sinus, vascular health, and also regulates sleep.
